Perma Plate Leatherguard® preserves and protects not-fabric upholstery
against temperature extremes and UV radiation preventing fading,
discoloration and cracking. Leather is a skin and is exposed to similar
deterioration to that of human skin if not properly cleaned and
conditioned on a regular basis. The cleaning and application of
Leatherguard Renewer should be repeated every 3 to 4 months for surfaces
that get regular wear and at least annually to all interior leather and
vinyl surfaces.
Keep leather and vinyl surfaces free from debris by wiping with a soft,
damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild solution of soap and water or
commercially available leather cleaner.
As leather ages it tends to lose the natural oils that keep it soft and
supple. Due to climatic conditions, use and wear, leather and vinyl
surfaces should be periodically conditioned to restore the moisture
balance using Leatherguard Renewer.
Apply Leatherguard Renewer using a damp cloth or sponge. The surface
must be clean. Even application is essential, as varied amounts of
product will result in an unsatisfactory appearance. After the product
has had time to absorb, remove excess product with a clean, dry cloth to
ensure a uniform appearance. For a soft luster surface, buff the
treated area with a soft, clean, lint-free cloth.
